Responsibilities

  • Participate in HACCP reviews.
  • Participate in and support internal and external audits (certification, third-party, and customer).
  • Follow up with appropriate departments to ensure timely resolution of audit findings.
  • Technical liaison between site and third-party pest control provider.
  • Maintain pest control records and ensure all documents are up to date.
  • Technical liaison between site, sanitation chemical supplier, and third-party sanitation provider.
  • Provide training for production and third party sanitation personnel to complete production line and facility sanitation as per company SOPs.
  • Revalidate sanitation effectiveness and update SOP's as required.
  • Audit sanitation and CIP/COP processes for compliance with company SOPs and the Master Sanitation Schedule.
  • Create new sanitation SOPs for infrastructure/equipment as needed.
  • Carry out a range of food safety and quality management activities under the guidance of senior colleagues to contribute to the identification and evaluation of current policies and business processes that are in the scope of the quality management system (FSQMS) and to support the design, development, and documentation of new policies, procedures, and business processes.
  • Maintain and update documentation and records required by the Food Safety and Quality Management Systems (FSQMS).
