About The Position

We are seeking a Quality & Safety Manager to lead our Quality Management System, Calibration Laboratory Quality System, and Environmental Health & Safety programs. This is a mission‑critical role responsible for driving ISO compliance, ensuring operational excellence, and championing safety across the organization. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline
  • 8+ years of experience in a calibration‑related quality role
  • 5+ years of experience in a safety‑related system role
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 17025, and EHS compliance requirements
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to interface effectively with internal and external customers at multiple levels
  • Advanced analytical and problem‑solving abilities — able to define problems, gather data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Ability to interpret technical instructions, mathematical concepts, diagrams, and abstract or concrete variables
  • Computer proficiency, including intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently
  • Ability to travel domestically up to 15%
  • Must pass pre‑employment background check, education & employment verification, and a 10‑panel drug screening (including marijuana)

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Metrohm USA’s Quality Management Systems in accordance with ISO 9001 and ISO/IEC 17025.
  • Manage quality documentation, maintain calibration, certification, and validation records, and coordinate both internal and external audits.
  • Serve as the internal ISO subject‑matter expert—providing guidance to leadership, service, operations, and calibration teams while driving corrective and preventive actions.
  • Act as the primary liaison for all audit activities, including ISO audits, customer audits, and internal service audits.
  • Perform work‑order reviews, oversee supplier qualification and quality agreements, and monitor corrective actions and effectiveness checks.
  • Compile quality performance metrics, analyze trends, and produce data‑driven reports to support decision‑making at the organizational level.
  • Manage the company’s EHS programs in alignment with ANSI Z10 and OSHA 29 CFR 1910.
  • Develop and maintain safety procedures, deliver training, and oversee the OSHA 10‑hour training program.
  • Support nationwide service team safety initiatives, lead risk assessments, complete customer safety questionnaires, and serve on the Metrohm USA Safety Committee—strengthening a culture of safety at every level.
