About The Position

La Clinica de Familia (LCDF) is a FQHC with several locations in Southern New Mexico. For over 40 years, La Clinica as provided services to the residents of Southern New Mexico. Job Summary: Develop, implement, and oversee quality improvement to ensure the highest quality patient care, optimal patient flow, provider productivity and continuity of care.

Requirements

  • Good organizational skills to handle multiple priorities while remaining professional and calm
  • Knowledge of data aggregation, analysis and presentation
  • Computer literacy
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in the realization of performance objectives and previous experience in performance-based evaluations/quality metrics
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Ability to work as a liaison with patients, government agencies, grantors, managed care and other health care organizations to coordinate quality measurement and performance activities.
  • Ability to prioritize, organize and carry out work assignments independently and efficiently
  • Must be able to make suggestions on workflow or system efficiency and effectiveness
  • Ability to build and motivate teams with demonstrated leadership and facilitation.
  • Ability to take initiative and proactively assess and improve processes within the clinic.
  • Strong level of confidentiality due to the sensitivity of materials and information handled.
  • Commitment to demonstrating personal integrity through punctuality, honesty, an ability to follow guidance, proper attention to detail in all work matters, and a willingness to learn from others.
  • Current unencumbered New Mexico License
  • Minimum two (2) years’ experience in clinical care setting

Nice To Haves

  • Quality improvement, regulatory and/or risk management experience preferred
