About The Position

The Quality Review Sterile Processing Tech position is a full-time role located in Naperville, IL, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm. The position offers a sign-on bonus of $5,000. The role involves ensuring daily operational compliance with standards governing sterile processing activities from agencies such as The Joint Commission, OSHA, AORN, and AAMI, as well as state and local ordinances. The technician will assist in the coordination, facilitation, and monitoring of new and existing sterile processing staff education, training, and orientation in collaboration with department leadership. Additionally, the technician will help maintain, inventory, and implement instrument trays/sets, instruments, and supplies, and work collaboratively with staff to maintain accurate instrument count sheets. The role also includes providing analysis of reported data and recommendations for improvement, as well as identifying staff educational needs and developing programs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT) or Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) certification.
• 2 years of experience in healthcare sterile processing or procedural area.
• Experience in project management and staff education.
