Requirements

  • Knowledge of low-power electronic circuitry and the ability to interpret schematics and PCB layouts.
  • Experience with electronic part level inspection, analysis, troubleshooting and diagnosis.
  • Must be able to read and interpret work instructions, drawings, and procedures.
  • Soldering
  • Experience using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and other test equipment.
  • Adaptable problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 45 lbs.
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

  • Primary duty is the inspection, analysis, troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair of large industrial PCBs.
  • Perform documentation creation/updates as needed to improve proficiency and efficiency.
  • Operation, testing and repair of automated test fixtures and of various electronic products and mechanical assemblies.
  • Firmware reflashing of communication PCBs.
  • Conformal coating of component solder connections.
  • Test electrical and mechanical components and systems
  • Assemble and dis-assemble electrical and mechanical components and systems as required.
  • Set up and operate specialized and standard test equipment to diagnose, test and analyze the performance of electrical and electronic components, assemblies and systems.
  • Provide feedback to engineering and operations groups regarding first time assemblies.
  • Complete repair on assemblies that have failed during one of the post-assembly tests.
  • Assist in product validation and testing when required.
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement
  • Maintain 5S of your work area.
  • Other duties as assigned.
