We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated professional to fill the position of Quality Receiving Inspector.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Quality inspection support to Receiving operations.
  • Inspect purchased parts, assemblies, accessories, and materials for conformance to specifications, using precision measuring instruments and devices.
  • Examine items for defects in materials, work, and damage occurring in transit.
  • Compare quantity and part number of items received with procurement data and other specifications to ensure completeness and accuracy of order.
  • Inspect and measure items for dimensional accuracy, fit, alignment, and functional operation, according to blueprints, parts manuals, company or military standards, and other specifications, using precision measuring instruments and devices.
  • Assist with identification and segregation of rejected products or materials; approve or reject items, and record inspection and disposition information.
  • Inspect incoming orders for counterfeit material.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Skilled in the use of all types of measuring equipment, such as scales, calipers, micrometers, hand tools.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, time management and follow-up skills.
  • Work from Engineering drawings/specs, Engineering change notices or established operating procedures.
  • Experience in PC skills (Microsoft Office-Excel, Word).
  • Minimum of 1 year in Aerospace Manufacturing environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning software.
