About the position

The Quality Raw Materials Intern position at Lonza is part of the 2025 On-site Summer Internship program, designed to immerse candidates in the company's culture and operations. This 12-week internship focuses on supporting the Quality Raw Materials team at the Portsmouth, NH site, providing technical assistance related to the receipt, storage, sampling, testing, and cGMP release of chemical and consumable raw materials. Interns will gain insights into quality oversight functions and biologics processes while contributing to ongoing operations and strategic quality projects.

Responsibilities

• Support ongoing operations related to the receipt, storage, sampling, testing, and cGMP release of raw materials.
• Assist the Quality Raw Materials team in achieving their objectives.
• Develop an understanding of the quality oversight function and biologics processes.
• Engage in documentation, laboratory, and compliance activities as needed.

Requirements

• Completion of junior year (typically 90 credits) towards a B.S. degree in a Biology, Chemistry, or Engineering related degree program.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (out of 4) required.
• Must currently be enrolled in BS or MS Academic Program.
• Must be available to begin the Internship on Tuesday, May 27, 2025.
