About The Position

Nemera is seeking a Quality Manager to assist the Associate Director of Quality in coordinating and executing goals and objectives throughout the company to improve product quality and operating system efficiency. The role involves directing and coordinating the activities of Quality Department employees, establishing sound relationships with various teams, and ensuring adherence to project and company standards while maintaining quality systems that meet customer, internal, and regulatory requirements. The Quality Manager will manage claims non-conformities, investigations, and root cause analysis, as well as oversee process and equipment validations for new products and existing business. The position also includes defining and implementing quality initiatives, engaging in risk assessment processes, and representing the Quality Department during audits.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
  • 4+ years of relevant working experience in Quality in a manufacturing environment.
  • 1+ year experience in a supervisory role.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts and intermediate statistical knowledge.
  • Strong understanding of injection molding, Automation, and FMEA.
  • Knowledge of equipment/process/product validation practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership and ability to motivate and influence others.
  • Able to lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Ability to push and pull items.
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk 80% of shift.

Nice To Haves

  • Self-directed with knowledge of business and management principles.
  • Knowledge of inspection tools, including their design, use, repair, and maintenance.
  • Medical device and/or Pharmaceutical Industry experience.
  • Six sigma training and/or certifications.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and knowledge of PC applications.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Associate Director of Quality in coordinating and executing goals and objectives.
  • Direct and coordinate the activities of Quality Department employees.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with production, technology, supply chain, and quality teams.
  • Act as liaison with metrology, QC, and compliance team.
  • Ensure adherence to project and company standards.
  • Manage claims non-conformities, investigations, and root cause analysis.
  • Manage process and equipment validations for new products and existing business.
  • Define and implement quality initiatives to meet KPI’s and objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement through data trending and analysis.
  • Review and approve technical protocols, reports, and specifications.
  • Participate and lead CAPA activities.
  • Supervise staff in line with company policies and laws.
  • Make hiring decisions for direct reports.
  • Represent the Quality Department in support of audits.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Benefits
