About The Position

Boeing is seeking an experienced Quality Production Specialist to join their team in JRB New Orleans, LA, supporting the Boeing Global Services (BGS) organization. This role is crucial for ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements within maintenance activities. The specialist will be responsible for providing oversight of Quality directives, policies, processes, and procedures. Key tasks include collecting and verifying data to support root cause identification for routine problems, performing audits to determine compliance with quality management system standards, configuration assurance, and other business, regulatory, and customer requirements. The position also involves documenting audit results in standard formats and performing general Quality oversight of maintenance activities, working under general supervision.

Requirements

  • 3+ years experience with Aircraft inspection (FA18 preferred)
  • Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Capable of traveling on an as needed basis (up to 10%)
  • Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, requiring a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 (U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee).
  • Requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required), with a clearance active in the past 24 months considered active.

  • 3+ years’ experience with Boeing quality assurance programs such as FOD and Tool Control

Responsibilities

  • Provides oversight of Quality directives, policies, processes and procedures.
