About The Position

The Quality Process Improvement Specialist plays a crucial role in enhancing the quality and efficiency of processes within the organization. This position requires the application of various quality and process improvement tools and methodologies to develop and refine processes that align with TMC's True North initiatives. The specialist will engage with leaders and empower staff to drive improvements that ensure patient safety and adherence to evidence-based practices. The role involves overseeing ongoing quality improvement activities, ensuring compliance with licensing, registry, and regulatory requirements, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization. In this position, the specialist will work both independently and collaboratively with medical staff and other healthcare team members to create and implement evaluation programs aimed at identifying, resolving, and reporting opportunities for enhancing patient care. The specialist will be responsible for creating effective oral and written communications, organizing and delivering professional presentations, and coordinating process improvement initiatives using Lean methodologies and quality improvement tools. Building rapport with customers, suppliers, leaders, and employees at all levels is essential for success in this role. Additionally, the Quality Process Improvement Specialist will coach and mentor staff in the application of quality improvement tools, facilitate cross-functional work groups, and develop educational content tailored to various audiences. The specialist will also perform related duties as assigned, contributing to the overall mission of improving healthcare quality and patient outcomes.
