About the position

The Quality Process Auditor's responsibility is to audit production processes to ensure accuracy and consistency of established processes. This role involves documenting process issues in the relevant quality management system, relaying process audit results to area leaders, and engaging positively with team members from all disciplines to ensure common goals are being met. The auditor must be prepared to work overtime hours as necessary, including Saturdays, to complete production schedules in a timely manner, and provide adequate care and maintenance of all equipment and resources used.

Requirements

  • High school degree required, college degree is a definite asset.
  • Basic computer and math skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication.
  • Must be able to work closely with others to solve problems and follow-through on solutions.
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write in English.
  • Must be able to read, interpret and follow basic instructions and prints.
  • Be able to operate and understand measurement tools (tape measures, micrometers, gauges, calipers, levels, etc.).

Nice-to-haves

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications required.
  • Proven quality assurance and auditing experience in a similar industry preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization and time management skills preferred.
