Monitor calls from assembly or operations and handle, when Product Quality Technicians (PQTs) are occupied with other tasks. Provide training to PQTs on key processes, including using SAP ECC for move tickets, operating MHEs, closing CPI BIQ projects, and creating travel tickets. Determine whether to extend containment measures based on the defective structures identified. Oversee and maintain all quality logs, including containment records, quality alerts, and customer issue logs. Collect assembly and PDC containment data for the containment folder by identifying all machines operating within the affected time window. Conduct weekly PDAs and participate in assembly PDAs. Distribute the daily pass-down summarizing current issues. Issue quality alerts and reissue them upon expiration. Serve as the coordinator between operations, engineering, assembly, and paint teams. Create quality presentation slides and present quality data during SBU meetings. Create move tickets in SAP ECC for items returned from the canopy and sent back out and manage the OPS rework pod for aged inventory. Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers on PPAPs.

Requirements

  • At least one year of experience in a Quality role (i.e., Quality Auditor, PQT, Quality Lead, etc.)
  • Intermediate proficiency in SAP software (Basic skills/Knowledge. Capable of functioning independently).
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Basic skills/Knowledge. Capable of functioning independently).
  • Role requires overtime on a short notice to support business needs.
  • Willing and able to sit or stand for prolonged periods
  • Willing and able to perform repetitive operations
  • Willing and able to lift up to 35 lbs.
