About The Position

The Quality Planner plays a critical role within the Quality organization, ensuring high‑quality data and documentation are established to support compliant, reliable manufacturing and supply chain operations. This position focuses on the creation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Quality Info Records, First Article Inspection (FAI) data, and Master Inspection Characteristics (MICs). The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, a process‑oriented mindset, and the ability to collaborate effectively across Quality, Supply Chain, and Engineering functions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Data Analytics, Engineering, Statistics, or related field
  • 0-2 years experience in Quality, Operations, Manufacturing, or Supply Chain within the biotech, medical device, or related regulated industry.
  • Working knowledge of supplier qualification, material qualification, and quality documentation requirements.
  • Familiarity with SAP Quality Management modules, including Quality Info Records and Quality Certificates.
  • Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems.
  • Background in First Article Inspection processes and inspection planning.
  • Knowledge of Master Inspection Characteristics and inspection data structures.
  • Demonstrated experience in process improvement, Lean, or continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, regulated environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, review, and maintain Quality Info Records, First Article Inspection documentation, and Master Inspection Characteristics in alignment with internal standards and regulatory expectations.
  • Partner with Supplier Quality, Supply Chain, and Engineering to ensure accurate and complete data inputs for new materials, components, and suppliers.
  • Support supplier qualification and material qualification activities by ensuring required quality data, certificates, and documentation are captured and properly linked in SAP.
  • Create and update Quality Certificates and ensure alignment with SAP quality management processes.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives to streamline data creation, reduce errors, and enhance system integration.
  • Assist in the development and refinement of standard work, templates, and procedures related to quality planning activities.
  • Ensure compliance with internal quality systems, industry standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
