About The Position

The Quality Partner at Intermountain Health is responsible for proactively planning, implementing, coordinating, and collaborating with key stakeholders to enhance quality, safety, experience, and equity within the organization. This role focuses on reducing operational risk by recommending and effectuating improvements to policies and procedures, while advancing the Clinical Excellence function through performance improvement processes and regulatory readiness activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Informatics, Organizational Development, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Trained in improvement science (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, Project Management).
  • Two years of experience in a role requiring effective decision-making skills in a healthcare setting.
  • Experience with change management and the ability to lead the implementation of new processes or technologies.
  • Ability to travel unplanned and last-minute with reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

  • Regulatory experience in an acute care setting.
  • Experience working in a complex health system.
  • Experience with external entities that support quality standards and approaches.
  • Three years of experience leading successful quality improvement projects in clinical settings.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement quality improvement initiatives across the organization.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance clinical performance and operational processes.
  • Conduct regulatory readiness activities to ensure compliance and quality standards.
  • Analyze data to identify opportunities for improvement in clinical quality.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations on quality metrics and improvement strategies.
  • Design and deliver consultation and education programs for staff.
  • Promote a culture of high reliability and continuous improvement.
