Requirements

Strong foundation in basic math, biology, and chemistry to accurately assess and analyze product quality
Keen attention to detail for identifying deviations from GMPs and safety protocols
Effective teamwork and communication skills
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally

Responsibilities

Inspect and sample incoming grains and raw materials for quality and contamination risks
Verify flour grind specifications
Sample collection and testing. Perform analytical testing (GA analysis, mycotoxin screening)
Maintain lab equipment and cleanliness
Monitor critical control points (CCPs) and preventive controls
Document and review production records for accuracy and compliance
Investigate non-conformances and support corrective actions
Ensures and verifies that plant departments and employees are adhering to the quality standards and guidelines of the company.
Actively monitors, and enforces company GMP's
Prepare and maintain departmental forms and documents. Monitor the completion of paperwork by other departments.
