About The Position
Littelfuse is seeking a Quality Manager for its epitaxial wafer fabrication site in Allen, TX, which is a crucial part of the company's $800M global Power Semiconductor business. This role encompasses comprehensive responsibilities for all aspects of quality management, including Quality Systems Management, Manufacturing Quality, Supplier Quality, Customer Complaint Resolution, and Team Management. The Quality Manager will play a pivotal role in leading the quality department to achieve world-class quality levels and ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction for Littelfuse's SBU Epitaxial products. The Quality Manager will be responsible for overseeing the Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with established standards such as ISO 9000 and IATF 16949. This includes managing customer and certifying body audits to maintain quality and environmental management systems. The role also involves setting quality control standards and procedures, adopting error-proof methodologies to target zero defects in production. A significant aspect of the position is to ensure an effective customer complaint handling and tracking process is in place, allowing for efficient management of customer complaints. In addition to these responsibilities, the Quality Manager will provide leadership and management for the quality department, focusing on personnel development through performance evaluations, appraisals, and identifying training opportunities. The role promotes a culture of continuous improvement through teamwork-based activities, fostering an environment where quality is prioritized and enhanced continuously.
