The QA Test Manager will lead quality assurance efforts across banking applications and infrastructure projects. This role requires deep domain expertise in banking, strong leadership in QA strategy, and hands-on experience with both manual and automated testing. The manager will ensure compliance with regulatory standards and drive continuous improvement in QA processes.

  • Design and implement comprehensive test strategies aligned with project goals and timelines.
  • Define scope, objectives, and acceptance criteria for testing phases including UAT.
  • Ensure alignment with banking regulations and data privacy standards.
  • Lead execution of functional, integration, system, regression, and UAT testing.
  • Manage manual and automated test plans using tools like Selenium, JIRA, and XRay.
  • Validate data integrity using SQL scripts and database queries.
  • Mentor and manage QA teams (onshore and offshore), ensuring high performance and collaboration.
  • Allocate resources efficiently across multiple projects.
  • Track, prioritize, and resolve defects using bug tracking tools.
  • Ensure adherence to QA best practices and regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project managers.
  • Provide regular status updates, KPIs, and risk assessments to stakeholders.
  • Continuously assess and refine QA processes for operational efficiency.
  • Promote innovation in testing methodologies and tools.
  • Strong knowledge of banking applications, infrastructure, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in test automation tools (e.g., Selenium), SQL, and scripting languages (Java, Python).
  • Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum Kanban).
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
  • Experience managing offshore QA teams.
