About The Position

The Quality Manager will provide strategic and hands-on leadership for all quality assurance and control activities at our Martinsburg, WV facility. This role is responsible for ensuring products consistently meet customer expectations, regulatory requirements, and industry standards while driving a culture of continuous improvement across the operation. The Quality Manager will work closely with the Plant Manager and cross-functional teams, and will lead quality systems, resolve complex issues, and strengthen processes. Employee may perform other related duties as required to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.

Requirements

• Certificate from a college or technical school and/or 3–5 years of related experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
• Previous experience in leadership or supervisory role
• Strong knowledge of quality systems and inspection processes
• Ability to read technical documents, drawings, procedures, and safety rules.
• Comfortable preparing reports and communicating with employees and customers.
• Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Working knowledge of basic math, statistics, and quality measurements

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the Quality Assurance team to meet inspection and quality requirements.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and company quality systems.
• Review product documentation and establish inspection criteria for added items.
• Develop sampling plans when customer requirements are not specified.
• Manage nonconforming materials and collaborate with Sales, Procurement, Production, and Management on resolutions.
• Maintain accurate quality records in line with customer and internal standards.
• Recommend improvements to inspection methods, productivity, and quality processes.
• Ensure department compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Communicate and coordinate with other supervisors and departments.
• Help create a positive, collaborative manufacturing environment.
• Obtain clarification from Sales/Engineering where critical information is missing.
• Ensure all work procedures within the department are performed according to the QMS.
