About The Position

At Critical Loop, we’re on a mission to make power more accessible and efficient. We’re expanding our Quality Management System to deliver industry-leading reliability and regulatory compliance. We’re seeking a Quality Manager to establish and own production quality management, help build the team, and carry us through ISO certification and audits. This is a chance to help a growing company create a quality management system efficiently and leveraging the latest automation tools that can minimize time-to-market.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years with manufacturing operations in an ISO-certified quality management system
• Experience with mulitple ISO9001 audits, specifically in planning internal audits and participating in external audits.
• Strong skills in collaboration tools (Confluence, Jira) and developing automated workflows
• Good working knowledge of electrical and mechanical assembly and production methods

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a management or leadership role, making hiring and staffing decisions
• Knowledge of UL 9540, NFPA, NEC and other Battery Energy Storage requirements
• Strong understanding of ISO, TUV, and UL certification and auditing practices
• BS in mechanical, electrical, manufacturing, or similar engineering

Responsibilities

• Owns the development, certification, and maintenance of the Quality Management System
• Lead author for new quality system documentation
• Plans and coordinates audits for ISO9001 and UL factory cert
• Contributes to new product development by providing certification and compliance methods.
• Contributes to the optimization of manufacturing processes to keep overhead low and reduce production timelines
