Quality Manager Position Summary: Under limited supervision and in collaboration with the Director of Quality & Compliance, the Quality Manager will develop, implement, and maintain a robust QMS to ensure compliance with: ISO 9001 ISO 13485 AS9100 21 CFR Part 820

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field (Associate degree with significant relevant experience considered).
  • Minimum 5 years of quality management experience in manufacturing.
  • At least 3 years working with ISO 9001, AS9100, and/or ISO 13485 environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of SPC, FMEA, and analytical quality tools.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems, Minitab, and Microsoft applications.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T.
  • Strong algebra, geometry, and trigonometry skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Must be a U.S citizen and able to comply with U.S. export regulations.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future employer sponsorship.
  • Must be able to travel domestically and internationally.
  • Must be able to wear required PPE (safety glasses, hearing protection, safety shoes).

Nice To Haves

  • 1–2 years of supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support internal and external audits to maintain certifications and regulatory compliance.
  • Update QMS policies and procedures in alignment with evolving standards.
  • Manage NCRs, CAPAs, root cause investigations, and corrective actions.
  • Maintain audit-ready documentation and traceability systems.
  • Prepare and present quality metrics and management review reports.
  • Analyze quality data (defect rates, production trends) and drive improvements.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen methodologies.
  • Support development of inspection methods and process controls.
  • Collaborate with customers to clarify specifications and resolve concerns.
  • Conduct supplier quality oversight and audits.
  • Supervise and develop quality team members.
  • Lead hiring, performance management, and employee development processes.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, compliance, and continuous improvement.
