About The Position

Subsidiary OmniSource Responsibilities Ensure compliance with company Quality Management System. Perform QMS audits and identify deficiencies. Reports findings to managements and recommend corrective actions. Directs continuous improvement efforts. Manage quality and lab personnel. Direct, supervise, and train personnel. Maintain positive employee relations. Establish a positive working environment through good communication. Consistently adhere to all safety policies and procedures, and set an example for other employees with regards to behavioral safety. Other duties as required.

  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9000 quality standards and quality systems

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field, and five years experience in manufacturing environment
  • Certifications/accreditations as a Quality Auditor, Quality Engineer or Quality Manager preferred
  • Strong computer skills (working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Working knowledge of statistical and other math concepts
