Aluma-Form Inc. is seeking a proactive and experienced Quality Manager to lead and oversee quality systems, product compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives within a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in a quality leadership role and must possess a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a Quality Manager or similar role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification or Lean Practitioner Certification.
  • Proven track record of leading successful quality initiatives and managing cross-functional teams.
  • Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies (e.g., FMEA, SPC, CAPA, root cause analysis).
  • Familiarity with APQP, PPAP, and supplier quality management.
  • Demonstrated leadership, strategic thinking, and decision-making abilities.

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of SAP or comparable ERP systems.
  • Experience using Microsoft SharePoint for document control and collaboration.
  • Demonstrated success leading Continuous Improvement initiatives.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific standards or compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Quality Assurance team in maintaining and improving quality systems, procedures, and metrics across manufacturing operations.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with applicable industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer and third-party audits, corrective actions, and product quality issues.
  • Implement and drive Lean Six Sigma projects to reduce variability, defects, and non-conformities.
  • Monitor quality KPIs, conduct trend analysis, and report results to senior management.
  • Develop, mentor, and train quality personnel to enhance team performance and engagement.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Customer Service, and Supply Chain to resolve root causes of quality issues using structured problem-solving tools (e.g., 8D, DMAIC).
  • Oversee supplier quality performance and assist in qualification and audit activities.
  • Champion a culture of Continuous Improvement and operational excellence throughout the facility.
