This position is responsible for ensuring that all Quality Engineering (QE) deliverables, such as Quality Objectives, MSA, Control Plans, Part Inspection, Capability Studies, and Customer PPAP, are executed on time and to the appropriate level of detail. The role involves monitoring and reporting production and service incoming quality scores, and implementing corrective actions as needed. The Quality Manager will also develop key customer and internal relationships to ensure successful product launches and resolve issues. Responsibilities include developing QE resource budgets, staffing needs, participating in the interview process, and contributing to the quoting process to ensure quality objectives are considered. The manager will actively participate in Program Reviews and Phase Exit Reviews, and prepare monthly assessments of PLUS QE deliverables, mitigating risks for any 'yellow' or 'red' status items. The role also encompasses active participation in Health/Safety/Environmental investigations and the 8D process for root cause analysis, ensuring safety audits are completed, reporting incidents, and promoting environmental management system compliance. The primary location for this role is Bridgewater Interiors III.
