About The Position

At Worldwide Foam, quality is engineered into every extrusion run, every specification, and every shipment. We are seeking an experienced and driven Quality Manager who understands manufacturing at its core-especially continuous extrusion processes-and can transform standards, data, and customer requirements into measurable operational performance. This position is responsible for ensuring that all products meet consistent quality standards while aligning ISO requirements, customer expectations, and internal performance objectives. The ideal candidate thrives both on the production floor and in the data-analyzing trends, strengthening process control, and leading continuous improvement initiatives that deliver sustainable results.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical capability, experience in statistical methods and root cause investigation, and a deep understanding of quality control in a manufacturing setting
  • A high school diploma or GED is required
  • Strong computer literacy, including data analysis and reporting tools, is essential

Nice To Haves

  • Experience within extrusion manufacturing-particularly foam or other continuous processes-is strongly preferred.
  • A college degree or at least two years of quality assurance experience in manufacturing is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Partners closely with Operations to ensure extrusion lines consistently produce in-spec product while minimizing variation and scrap
  • Monitor quality objectives, generate meaningful performance metrics, and report results to leadership with clear analysis and recommendations
  • Lead root cause investigations and corrective action processes, manage nonconformities, and implement preventive strategies that reduce repeat issues
  • Oversees inspection methods, testing protocols, and product validation-both internally and through external testing facilities
  • Maintain and improve our ISO-based quality management system by conducting internal audits, supporting external audits, and ensuring policies and procedures remain effective, current, and actionable
  • Reinforcing a culture of accountability and continuous improvement across the organization
  • Supervise and develop Quality Technicians, manage time and attendance for direct reports, and collaborate with department managers and HR to build and maintain a strong training curriculum focused on quality standards and compliance.
