Project Based QC Manager responsible to plan, direct, supervise, and implement project quality control activities in compliance with applicable company standards and programs.
Prepare quality control procedures (work controlling documents) and review other department procedures for compliance and/or correctness.
Prepare, obtain approval, issue and implement company quality control (assurance) program manual in compliance with owner contract and company requirements.
As required by quality control program manual, perform activities such as audits, preparation of quality problems, etc.
Provide administrative and technical direction to all quality control personnel
Act as liaison with owner, regulatory agencies, subcontractors, and/or internal departments on quality related matters as required.
Ensure company standards as outlined in quality control (assurance) manual are effectively implemented.
Insure adequate corrective measures are implemented in case on noncompliance.
Assist in preparation of responses to RFQ's and RFP's regarding QA and QC programs.
Perform internal/external audits to ensure quality control requirements are implemented and/or maintained.
Possess a bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or equivalent combinations of technical training and experience.
4+ years of related/ applicable experience in quality control
Thorough working knowledge of regulatory agency quality assurance/quality control activities.
Excellent verbal/written communication skills required.
Demonstrated leadership, communication and strong interpersonal skills are requisite.
