About The Position

The Quality Manager will be responsible for driving a strong quality management system that is robust and risk-based. You will lead a team consisting of quality control and quality assurance individuals to ensure top product is provided to the customers. The quality manager will ensure compliance to ISO 9001 requirements, internal procedures, and customer expectations. You Will have the Opportunity to: Drive and maintain a strong quality culture that complies with internal and external requirements. Support continuous improvement of the quality management system to ensure a state of continued growth. Build a strong, positive relationship with the customers to ensure trust. Manage stressful situations with composure, resolve complex problems through collaboration, and maintain a positive attitude and environment. Support the site in continued use and updating of FMEA and Control Plans. Use the outputs to these to drive improvements and continually reduce risk throughout the process. Support an environment with strong root cause analysis using various tools such as 5-why, Ishikawa, brainstorming, etc. that drive both internal and external corrective and preventative actions. Lead and mentor both within and outside of the quality team, provide training, and develop a quality-focused organizational culture.

Requirements

  • Minimum BS in Metallurgy, Materials, Mechanical Engineering or similar, scientific field
  • At least 10 years’ experience required (15+ preferred) holding a quality functional role within a manufacturing environment (Aerospace, automotive, or pharmaceutical experience preferred)
  • 5 + Years’ experience leading a quality system and team

Nice To Haves

  • MBA preferred
  • Aerospace, automotive, or pharmaceutical experience preferred
