About The Position

Quality Managermust possess excellent attention to detail, will be expected to perform job daily in accordance with Quality procedures and requirements. Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of AS9100 Standards.
  • Auditing experience.
  • Extensive experience with RCCA (Root Cause and Corrective Action) methodology.
  • Knowledge of team building skills, experience working with teams to accomplish business objectives for resolutions.
  • Understanding of structure of contracts and business terms and conditions.
  • Business writing and communication skills.
  • Ability to learn ERP system.
  • Ability to train, guide and motivate team.
  • Blueprint reading
  • Familiarity with Inspection methods.
  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Write routine reports and correspondence. Speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
  • Add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Compute rate, ratio and percent, and draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Intermediate Computer Skills
  • AS9100: 3 years (Required)

Nice To Haves

  • ANAB accredited auditing certificate, Six sigma, and SPC training preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage organizations Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Direct and set priorities of Inspection Group.
  • Review cert packs, sign certs of conformance.
  • Write Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) and disposition returns (RMA Process).
  • Manage document register, Corrective Preventative Action Report (CPAR).
  • Work with Purchasing Manager to ensure and manage supplier risk sheet is current (ASL).
  • Initiate source requests as required.
  • Oversee collection of metric/data.
  • Review and approve Fare Article Inspection Review (FAIR).
  • Approve outside processing purchase orders.
