Job Summary The Quality Manager is responsible for managing and improving quality assurance processes to ensure products meet engineering specifications, organizational standards, and customer requirements. This role provides leadership to the quality team, supports product development and operations, and ensures ongoing compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and other applicable requirements.

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality assurance methodologies.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with engineering, operations, and customer-facing teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline required.
  • Five to eight years of progressive experience in quality engineering or quality management required.
  • Prior supervisory or team leadership experience required.

Nice To Haves

  • Internal Auditor certification strongly preferred.
  • SAP experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Reviews design plans, process procedures, test procedures, and quality manuals to understand product requirements and quality expectations.
  • Ensures products meet the organization’s and customers’ quality and product integrity requirements.
  • Supports product development and operations teams by providing quality expertise throughout design, manufacturing, inspection, and delivery processes.
  • Leads root cause analysis of quality issues and drives corrective and preventive actions to resolution.
  • Analyzes quality data and metrics to identify trends, reduce defects, and prevent recurrence.
  • Manages and maintains site-level compliance with ISO 9001:2015 requirements, including internal audits and support of external audits.
  • Develops, implements, and maintains quality procedures, work instructions, and inspection standards.
  • Acts as a primary point of contact for quality-related customer issues and internal escalations.
  • Promotes a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement across the organization.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
