Responsibilities

  • Develops and maintains quality management system to ensure highest quality parts reach our customers. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to build and uphold effective system and related processes.
  • Leads high-performing quality team. Trains and guides new hires and current employees.
  • Creates and maintains strong relationships with customers and suppliers, ensuring expectations are met consistently.
  • Performs quality, supplier, process, and other audits as required.
  • Defines and executes quality departmental objectives.
  • Monitors product quality through audits, returns, inspections, cost reports, and customer scorecards. Performs root cause failure analyses and communicates resolution to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Maintains an effective corrective and preventative action plan to ensure continuous improvement in quality metrics.
  • Completes other projects as assigned.
