Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree plus 3+ years of progressive quality-related experience and 3+ years in a supervisory role
  • Expertise in QMS, SPC, SQC, 5S, 8D, FMEA, Root Cause Analysis, Gage R&R, DOE
  • Strong communication skills for training, influencing, and leading teams
  • Analytical mindset with proven problem-solving abilities
  • Business acumen in planning, budgeting, and resource management
  • Ability to obtain and maintain ASQ certifications

Nice To Haves

  • Engineer, Certified Quality Auditor, or Certified Quality Manager
  • ASQ certification
  • 6 Sigma Black Belt
  • Experience in manufacturing and managing multi-shift or continuous operations

Responsibilities

  • Champion Quality & Safety: Lead GMP compliance, maintain certifications (BRC, HACCP, SFI), and ensure we're always “audit ready.”
  • Drive Operational Excellence: Monitor KPIs, anticipate issues, and implement corrective actions to boost performance across Safety, Quality, Service, Efficiency, and Employee Development.
  • Lead Continuous Improvement: Analyze trends, customer feedback, and nonconformities to identify opportunities. Guide root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Be a Technical Leader: Act as a subject matter expert in QA, process improvement, and product trials. Collaborate with teams, suppliers, and customers to uphold standards and solve challenges.
