About The Position

We are looking for a Quality Manager with a wide variety of abilities to complement our experienced workforce in the Data Center environment located in the Canton, Mississippi area. Applicants should have the ability to: Perform planned audits and surveillance of execution activities to ensure compliance to Project requirements. Performing audits and surveillance of subcontractors, suppliers, and sub-suppliers, when required. Monitor and report on the status of implementation of the Project Quality Management System and its effectiveness. Identifying and recording quality problems and opportunities for improvement and initiating or recommending solutions. Assure that the contract obligations for testing and record keeping are adhered to. Ensure proper turnover of complete quality control package(s). Responsible for ensuring that turnover documentation is maintained, organized and turned over on schedule. Interact with management and customer personnel as needed during the resolution of quality issues or customer audits. Strong communication skills are required for regular collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Previous experience in managing quality assurance processes within large-scale industrial or data center projects is preferred. Facilitate project quality meetings when necessary. Knowledgeable in applicable electrical OSHA rules and regulations.

Requirements

  • Ability to pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug/alcohol test and applicable background checks
  • Technical knowledge related to engineering, environmental, procurement, construction, inspection, and testing is required to understand specified requirements.
  • Knowledge of industry codes and standards pertaining to electrical installation and testing.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Manages deliverables of all L1, L2, L3 QAQC, Testing, and CX coordination.
  • Ability to meet the cut score on the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) Skill Assessment.
  • Ability to meet the cut score on the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) Skill Assessment, or possess an electrical state journeyman license.
  • Applicants for this position are required to possess ten (10) years of relevant experience in electrical work.
  • A minimum of six (6) years of QA/QC experience in the fabrication, testing, and installation of electrical systems is required.
