About The Position

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Manager for our Aerospace Machining facility located in Wheeling, IL, 60090. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance within the aerospace industry. Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies. Lead root cause analysis and corrective action processes for quality-related issues. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to enhance product quality and efficiency. Train and mentor staff on quality assurance practices and procedures. Prepare and present quality reports to management, highlighting key metrics and improvement opportunities. Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure ongoing compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in quality management within the aerospace machining industry.
• Strong knowledge of aerospace quality standards (e.g., AS9100, ISO 9001).
• Proficient in quality tools and methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team while fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
