Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in Quality or a related field, preferred.
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in an automotive assembly or manufacturing environment
  • Experience as an Internal and/or Lead Auditor
  • Team oriented, communicates well with others, and able to interact with people at all levels and departments.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills; previous certification in 8-D problem solving preferred.
  • Previous certification as QMS system auditor.
  • Demonstrated ability to track improvement processes through performance data and successfully resolve problems/issues.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement procedures compliant with IATF and ISO14001.
  • Support MAFACT (world-class manufacturing system) audits both internal and external as well work closely with pillar leads to ensure compliance to MAFACT standards and guidelines.
  • Conduct internal audit as per year planning calendar.
  • Facilitate meetings with departments to map out the processes in the plant in support of the registration all audit activities.
  • Maintain the document and data control process for the facility.
  • Analyze quality data for the plant and the product.
  • Conduct training on quality systems, specifically IATF, ISO14001, Mafact systems, and 5’s systems.
  • Lead “LPA’s”, Layered Process Audit system and ensure compliance within IATF standards.
  • Tracks annual supplier, Internal, and External PPAP documentation preparation and supports at launch and with engineering changes.
