The Quality Management System (QMS) Specialist will work within LED's workforce, focusing on quality programs for Client companies across the State of Louisiana. This position will be mainly responsible for providing guidance and support in training, developing, implementing, auditing, and maintaining a system of processes and procedures to ensure that Clients' products and services meet established industry requirements and regulations. The QMS Specialist will act as an internal consultant to Clients in various industries to include; Aerospace, Automotive, Chemical, Electronics, Food & Beverages, Oil & Gas, Steel, Textile, Woodworking, etc., with a focus on establishing a solid quality management system. Specialized areas of interest will include Safety, Risk Management, ISO, API, FDA requirements, as well as engineering, lean methodologies, logistics, quality, manufacturing, and other business principles.
