About The Position

We're seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Master's level intern with strong writing and analytical skills to join our dynamic Quality Management (QM) team. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in health policy, quality improvement, and data-driven decision-making across a leading behavioral healthcare organization. About the Quality Management Department Riverside's Quality Management Department oversees care for more than 40,000 individuals each year. Our team monitors incidents, conducts investigations, manages the Human Rights system, coordinates quality improvement initiatives, and maintains program policies across a wide range of services. As a Quality Management Intern, you'll work on meaningful projects that directly support Riverside's mission to deliver safe, high-quality care while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• Exceptional writing and communication abilities
• Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail
• Currently enrolled in a Master's degree program

Responsibilities

• Analyzing and identifying trends within Quality Management's data system
• Supporting Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) initiatives through data analysis and reporting
• Assisting in the development, revision, and organization of policies
• Updating client intake forms and creating master program lists to promote consistency across departments
• Reviewing client charts in the electronic health record system (EHR) to ensure documentation standards are met
