Whether you’re in oil & gas, power generation, or industrial operations, we provide fuel-flexible, overbuilt systems that perform when it matters most. ‍ Position Overview: The Quality Lead is an on-site, hands-on role responsible for implementing and strengthening quality practices across manufacturing and assembly operations. The position supports production through inspection activities, documentation review, and early identification of quality issues. Working cross-functionally, the Quality Lead ensures components, assemblies, and finished products meet engineering, customer, regulatory, and internal standards while maintaining compliance with safety requirements.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; additional technical training or degree desired
  • Minimum (5) years of experience in a quality, inspection, or manufacturing support role within a fabrication, assembly, industrial environment, or a similar industry
  • Experience working with engineered products, mechanical assemblies, or capital equipment
  • Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
  • Experience operating forklifts and material‑handling equipment in compliance with safety requirements; valid certification or ability to obtain certification required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future
  • Knowledge of quality inspection methods, measurement techniques, and industrial quality and inspection processes
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, bills of materials, and specifications
  • Familiarity with industrial materials and components, including mechanical parts, fabricated items, or vendor‑processed equipment
  • High attention to detail with the ability to identify trends, defects, and process gaps
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills for documenting findings and discussing issues
  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a cross‑functional environment, partnering with internal teams to meet operational priorities
  • Strong leadership skills and problem-solving abilities
  • Adaptability and comfort working in a fast‑growing, start‑up style environment where responsibilities evolve
  • Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds periodically; heavier items are handled using forklifts or team lifts
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periods throughout the workday
  • Ability to safely operate forklifts and material‑handling equipment following training and certification
  • Ability to work on‑site in a warehouse and shop‑floor production environment

Responsibilities

  • Perform incoming inspection of purchased components, fabricated parts, and assemblies against engineering drawings and specifications
  • Conduct in‑process (mid‑build) and final inspections to identify quality issues early and prevent downstream rework or delays
  • Verify dimensional accuracy, tolerances, and workmanship for mechanical assemblies and large engineered equipment
  • Ensure nonconforming material is identified, documented, and communicated appropriately
  • Oversee manufacturing builds by validating quality checkpoints and supporting production teams
  • Act as a quality resource for assemblers and technicians by clarifying drawings, specifications, and acceptance criteria
  • Partner with Manufacturing leadership to improve build quality, consistency, and repeatability
  • Review and maintain quality documentation related to inspections, deviations, and corrective actions
  • Support development and refinement of inspection checklists, quality procedures, and work instructions
  • Assist with internal audits and continuous improvement initiatives as quality systems mature
  • Support supplier quality activities, including review of incoming parts and coordination on corrective actions
  • Perform local supplier visits as needed to review part quality or resolve issues (inner city travel only)
  • Communicate quality findings clearly and professionally with internal teams and external partners
  • Operate forklifts and material‑handling equipment in compliance with safety requirements
  • Complete required safety and forklift certification training
  • Maintain a safe warehouse environment and escalate safety concerns as needed
  • Partner cross‑functionally with internal teams to align material readiness, priorities, and execution, while providing day-to-day leadership, coordination, and guidance to ensure smooth warehouse workflow and issue resolution
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to assist with successful operations and business continuity
