Requirements

• High school diploma/GED and completion of a craft apprenticeship, or an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience.
• 4+ years of manufacturing experience; strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and industrial blown film extrusion experience desired.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with blown film extrusion processes.
• Additional certifications in maintenance or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Perform highly diversified duties to repair, maintain, and install machines, tools, and equipment.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance in conjunction with maintaining production equipment during production.
• Review work orders, prioritize them, and perform the work in a professional manner.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
• Requisition tools, equipment, and supplies required for operations of repair.
• Perform simple machinist skills for fabricating parts as needed.
• Perform mechanic skills including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic troubleshooting, and testing.
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties.
