About The Position

ZIEHL-ABEGG is looking for a high energy and results-oriented Quality Lab Technician who can be a strong contributor to our heavily expanding company. The Quality Lab Technician will be responsible working with the Quality Team to aid in customer and supplier PPAPs, supplier complaints, and part approvals.

Requirements

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Detail oriented character in a fast-paced environment with excellent communication skills
  • Experience with quality system and implementation of quality standards
  • Experience with PPAP
  • Experience readings drawings
  • Experience using measurement equipment
  • Technical writing / reporting experience
  • Technical background and analytical skills
  • Eligible to work in the United States

Responsibilities

  • Aiding in overseeing/completing documentation for customer and supplier PPAPs.
  • Working with all internal departments and ZASE on part and process approvals by defining and ensuring all requirements are met.
  • Support ISO 9001 and ISO 3834 certification processes
  • Measure parts for approval
  • Creating approval documentation and measurement reports
  • Supporting CMM Lab via Airtable scheduling
  • Measuring and calibrating products using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring devices
  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Other duties as assigned by Supervisor
