Requirements

• College degree in Biology, Chemistry or related field.
• 2-3 years laboratory experience.
• Gas Chromatography knowledge.
• Familiar with variety software used and most production processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of chemical, physical, and analytical tests as well as sensory evaluations for a wide variety of flavoring products and incoming ingredients as identified by current specifications.
• Enter test results into computer to determine if the product is to be approved or rejected.
• Identify lots that do not meet specification and complete initial investigation of non-conformance.
• Provide all collected information needed to troubleshoot the non-conformance to supervisor for review and direction.
• Perform equipment calibrations and basic equipment maintenance per frequency noted in procedures.
• Communicate rejections and information updates to key contacts in Quality, Operations, Purchasing and Customer Care on a daily basis.
