You will be responsible for the storge, organization, identification, and safe transport of materials for the Quality Department. What do we offer? Our job titles may span more than one career level. The hourly range for this role is between $20+ an hour. Benefit coverage begins on day 1! Benefits include medical/dental/vision as well as many supplemental options at low rates. The actual hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands, and work location. Other benefit offerings for this role may include an annual bonus, if eligible. What will your typical day look like? Washing parts Parts that require degreasing will be transported to the wash area and cleaned before delivery to production Material Handling Detrashing and preparation of incoming RMA and NCR material for storage and movement through the process Relocating material onto pallets when needed, for sake of visibility or safe handling Physically disposing of scrap product and broken or unsuitable pallets Physically moving RMA and NCR material throughout plant as directed Maintaining safe and uncluttered inventory and assembly delivery areas Use of all required PPE while working Other duties as assigned What about the physical demands of the job? Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in an indoor manufacturing environment. The employee will work in areas exposed to production activities to include but not limited to production machinery, assembly operations, overhead cranes usage, and forklift traffic. The employee will be required to use personal protective equipment to prevent exposure to workplace hazards. Mental Demands: While performing the duties of this class, the employee is regularly required to use written and oral communication skills; read and interpret data, information and documents; analyze and solve problems; use math and mathematical reasoning; observe and interpret situations; learn and apply new information or skills, and interact with other employees, customers and vendors. You may also be asked to perform other duties outside of your function or trade, for which adequate training will be provided if necessary.
