Strong organizational, teamwork, and self-starter skills will lead you to success in this role.

Requirements

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Organized and detail oriented
  • Strong interpersonal communication and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent mathematical skills, computer literate, and detail-oriented.
  • Background in quality and inventory roles.
  • Ability to multi task and meet deadlines.
  • Work overtime and odd shifts as necessary to meet production requirements
  • Ability to write, audit, and evaluate procedures and quality/inventory systems for compliance standards.
  • HS Diploma/G.E.D. Required

Nice To Haves

  • ASQ Certified Quality Auditor Desired

Responsibilities

  • Manage all inventory transactions, trouble shoot errors and identify root causes and supply possible solutions to Management team.
  • Review all inventory including raw goods, identify errors, and direct /follow up on corrections needed.
  • Support Inventory Department to improve accuracy and efficiency in all plant-wide inventory processes.
  • Accurately generate required month-end reporting promptly.
  • Manage and direct physical inventories as needed.
  • Ensure all inventory is reports to customers as requested.
  • Review and manage aged and obsolete inventory monthly with scheduler and process disposals.
  • Establish quality standards to assist appropriate departments with new product development.
  • Support all departments with quality concerns and provide customer assistance regarding quality issues, job specifications, customer products, and corrective actions.
  • Initiate policies, procedures, and guidelines related to customer quality, product safety, and product legality.
  • Support Management with all audits.
  • Lead/direct daily activates of shift quality auditors
