About The Position

Force Motion Group is offering an exciting opportunity for a Quality Intern. This role provides practical experience in supporting safety processes, specifically focusing on continuous improvement efforts related to Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) within manufacturing operations.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office tools.
• Experience with database work as it relates to search and data entry.
• Ability to work independently and complete assignments as needed.
• Experience working with office equipment such as printers, laptops, etc.
• Working knowledge of Safety systems as related to processes and procedures.
• Actively enrolled in Engineering, Quality Management, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related program with an emphasis or involvement in safety.

Responsibilities

• Working with the HES Manager, use the MSDS database to download all material used at the Maumee plant.
• Update the existing MSDS book with new data sheets while removing obsolete data.
• Create & update the MSDA book with enhancements as defined during the Apollo audit.
• Assist in developing the roll out and training associated with the new booklets for use in the Maumee plant.
