About The Position

If you are a Data Science/Analyst or Statistics student looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you as a Quality Data Analytics Intern! Based in our Austin, TX location, the Global Quality Intern supports the Global Quality Data & Analytics team in delivering high quality data solutions, insights, and tools that enable proactive quality risk reduction and data driven decision making. The intern contributes to analytics development, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives that support Emerson manufacturing sites and global quality partners. In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Prepare, cleanse, and validate data used in Global Quality dashboards and analytics tools. Support development, enhancement, and maintenance of analytics products (Tableau, PowerBI, JMP, Excel-based tools). Contribute to proactive quality risk reduction initiatives, including early-warning signal monitoring. Maintain documentation, metadata, and dataset structure for quality analytics. Create visuals, summaries, and content for quality reviews and leadership updates. Perform ad-hoc analysis and assist on global quality projects as assigned. Requirements

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Analytics, Statistics or related discipline
  • Familiarity with statistical or analytical methods
