As a Quality Intern at IP Corporation’s corporate office, you will support quality initiatives, documentation, and continuous improvement efforts across the organization. You’ll work closely with quality leaders, operations teams, and cross-functional partners to help support quality systems and process consistency. This internship is designed to provide practical experience in quality assurance, documentation, and manufacturing support within a multi-site organization.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a college or university pursuing a degree in Quality, Engineering, Industrial Technology, Manufacturing, or a related field.
  • Interest in quality assurance, process improvement, or manufacturing systems.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a professional, team-based environment.
  • Basic computer proficiency (Excel, Word, email, etc.).

Nice To Haves

  • Coursework related to quality systems, manufacturing, or continuous improvement.
  • Familiarity with ISO standards, audits, or quality documentation (helpful but not required).
  • Prior internship, part-time work, or project experience.
  • Curiosity, initiative, and a continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with quality documentation, procedures, and record management.
  • Support internal audits, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and follow-up activities.
  • Help collect, organize, and analyze quality-related data and metrics.
  • Assist with standardization and continuous improvement initiatives across operating companies.
  • Support training documentation and quality system updates.
  • Collaborate with quality, operations, engineering, and supply chain teams.
  • Learn about quality management systems, regulatory compliance, and manufacturing quality practices.
  • Participate in meetings, plant visits, and quality review sessions as appropriate.
  • Develop professional skills in problem-solving, organization, communication, and attention to detail.
