About The Position

The position involves assisting the quality team in identifying the largest scrap contributors across the plant and determining ways to reduce battery and plate scrap based on data analysis. The role includes participating in lab testing and establishing training processes on the shop floor. The intern will analyze scrap data using the company’s databases, become familiar with battery processes, and assist with the training plan for new hires and current team members.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited U.S. college or university.
• Pursuing an undergraduate degree in IT, data science, and/or Business.
• Authorized to work for any employer in the US without the need for sponsorship, now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Help the quality team to identify the largest scrap contributors across the plant.
• Determine ways to reduce battery and plate scrap based on data.
• Participate in lab testing.
• Establish training processes on the shop floor.
