About The Position

The Quality Inspector assures Company standards are maintained by testing, recording and documenting inspection and testing results. Communicates information to internal end users.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Good work ethic
• Knowledge of Quality Assurance terms, tools and methodology in Automotive Manufacturing field.

Nice To Haves

• Certifications in the Automotive Quality field
• Previous work experience in Quality Control or Quality Assurance.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of inspection procedures by testing, using gauges, calipers or other measuring devices for incoming and outgoing products.
• Approves or rejects incoming and out-going material by confirming product specifications by using visual and measurement testing methods.
• Ensure all quality check procedures and schedules are followed and documented.
• Ability to operate equipment to test parts for error proofing, challenge parts (red rabbits) to validate machine equipment is functioning properly.
• Ability to input data using Microsoft office products to document test results or various metrics such as daily/weekly/monthly material checks and record defects per day.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
