The ideal candidate for the Warehouse and Quality Inspection Specialist role will have a combination of both Warehouse and Quality Control (QC) experience. This position can be fast-paced and requires candidates to possess the ability to pay attention to detail to perform mechanical and visual receiving & shipping inspection on hardware, fasteners, fabrications, and electrical products within all degrees of complexity. Other Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Receives material coming into the building from vendors, customers, or other warehouses accurately and promptly. Verifies the quantity and description of materials received by checking the product against the packing list. Processes paperwork regarding UPS shipments, including verifying that the merchandise to be shipped is correct, applying the correct UPS postage tape, following customer shipping instructions, and ensuring the shipment when necessary. Documents, tags, controls, and segregates product in accordance with established procedures. Uses a controlled stamp to indicate product acceptance and certificate accuracy. Performs AQL sample lot inspections of drawing characteristics Inspects inbound & outbound materials for conformance, and supplier documentation, manufacture/special process certifications Supports internal and external ISO audits to initiate discrepancy reports and hold notices Manages QC equipment for 3rd party calibration and Non-Conforming Material Receipt (NCMR) Cage Management Follows quality processes, ISO facility internal procurement clauses, and internal work instructions to review & interpret customer requirements and supplier quality documentation
