3M is seeking Quality Inspector candidates in Clarkston, Georgia. The Impact You'll Make in this Role As a Quality Inspector, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by: Inspecting product to determine compliance with order specifications, customer requirements, and company's quality control system Assuring compliance with legal requirements, and shipping and packing facilities for conformity to specified standards Excellent visual skills to detect minute non-conformances (ex: cracks, voids, tool marks, etc.) Operate small hand tools and process equipment with dexterity Work with precision tools and equipment using good judgment to prevent damage to equipment, to understand equipment operation, and to be efficient

Requirements

  • Possess a High School Diploma / GED or higher (completed prior to start)
  • Previous quality inspection experience in a private, public, government, or military environment
  • Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in an aerospace or defense related industry
  • Security Clearance
