This position involves the inspection of in-house and vendor purchased products, raw materials, and services, as well as packaging and labeling materials used for medical devices. Quality Inspectors will also assist in the operation of the manufacturing line, ensuring the highest quality, striving for efficiency and excellence, and adhering to safety requirements.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • One year experience in medical device or pharmaceutical inspection.
  • Experience with Microsoft PC applications.
  • Experience with MRP/ERP systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to read technical drawings.
  • Ability to use measuring instruments.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect in-house and vendor purchased products, and raw materials and services.
  • Inspect packaging and labeling materials used for medical devices.
  • Assist in the operation of the manufacturing line while ensuring the highest quality and striving for efficiency and excellence while adhering to safety requirements.
  • Perform routine and repetitive inspection procedures to ensure quality levels at various stages of production.
  • Inspect incoming, in-process, and finished products for visual, mechanical, and dimensional characteristics.
  • Document deviations against requirements and specifications.
  • Read and follow visual aids, engineering change notices, and operating procedures.
  • Visually inspect products using magnification, sampling methods, first article checks, and AOI machines.
  • Enter inspection results into MES systems.
  • Perform lot release and batch record archiving.
  • Prepare and maintain inspection documentation.
  • Assist with training of coworkers.
  • Perform roving audits in manufacturing flow cells.
  • Comply with safety, health, and security procedures.
  • Perform other related duties as required.
