About The Position

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Audit incoming materials, work in progress, and finished parts for adherence to blueprint specifications using precision measuring equipment such as gages, calipers, micrometers, and Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) Segregate non-conforming material and pieces, providing reasons for rejection Perform dimensional layouts on sample components for approval of supplier tooling, document all findings, and assist with interpretation as required Provide feedback on what is required to bring rejected parts within specifications to production team members Participate in 5S and Lean activities Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers, Materials team, and Production team to resolve quality issues Working Condition: Typical shop floor with possible exposure to dirt, dust, fumes, heat, cold, noise, vibration, oil and water. May be exposed to any number of these elements.
